Space Pitch: Union Square Cafe, has been one America’s most beloved and acclaimed restaurants for more than 30 years. In its new home on 19th Street, Union Square Cafe embodies the heartfelt passion, commitment to seasonality, and generosity that has been the restaurant’s calling card since it opened in 1985. Designed by The Rockwell Group, Union Square Cafe’s new home preserves the restaurant’s signature charm, intimacy, and familiarity in a contemporary dining environment.
Food Pitch: Executive Chef Carmen Quagliata’s fresh take on seasonal cuisine draws inspiration from the nearby Union Square Greenmarket as well as the food and wine culture of Italy, France, and Northern California.
Private Dining Spaces
Alcove: Our semi-private room overlooking the lively dining room seats 8-12 guests at a single round table, and lends itself to wine dinners and other special celebrations.
Park & Irving: Our traditional private dining room accommodates 32 seated guests with pre-dinner cocktails in-room. We offer flexible menus and can happily suggest room décor, specialty cakes, music, and more.
Starting in mid-March, 2017, the private dining room will also be able to be divided with an air-wall to accommodate two separate spaces: Park and Irving. Each can accommodate up to 20 seated guests.
Full Restaurant Buyout: With a full restaurant buyout, we can accommodate 90 guests for a seated event on the main floor, with cocktails upstairs, or 150 guests for a partially-seated cocktail-style event.

Five hours of event time starting at/after 5:00 PM and ending by Midnight:
- starts at $60,000 plus tax for a Sunday-Thursday event
- starts at $75,000 plus tax for a Friday-Saturday event
Four hours of event time starting at/after 11:00 AM and ending by 5:00 PM:
- starts at $25,000 plus tax for a Monday-Thursday event
- starts at $35,000 plus tax for a Friday-Sunday event
*Pricing includes space use, food, beverage and service. Table décor such as flowers, place-cards, specialty linen and furniture not owned by Union Square Cafe is up to the guest to provide. Special AV equipment not owned by USC, and entertainment such as live music and an emcee for the event is also up to the guest to provide.
